“‘I guess, you’d say, what could make me feel this way? My girl . . .’” Eric sang out the Motown song gleefully. He was always at his happiest when he was in the lab he and Chris had built together.

They’d taken over Sunnydale High’s old science lab. It was the perfect place—old, abandoned, forgotten. And conveniently big enough to store everything they’d need to pull off the greatest science experiment in Sunnydale history.

The boys were creating their own perfect woman—out of dead body parts. In fact, right now, in the center of the dark, dank room was an old operating table. Their unfinished masterpiece—the partially constructed body of a teenage girl—lay under a sheet on the table.

Eric smiled broadly as he looked over at his buddy Chris. “How’s my baby?”

Chris scowled as he checked his neatly arranged equipment. “She’s not your baby.”

Eric looked over at the operating table in the center of the room. “She’s not gonna be anyone’s baby if we don’t finish it soon.”

“I’m working on it,” Chris insisted as he checked the stitches on the girl’s thigh.

Eric began to hang his newly-developed photos on a line to dry. He smiled sadistically as he stared at the faces of the teenage girls before him, including Willow, Buffy, and Cordelia. “So am I, friend,” Eric assured Chris. “So am I.”
